Karpos Fine Greek Products Window Design I Limassol
Destination Celebration.
The client’s brief for this window design was a multi-tiered one. The key goal naturally was to attract more customers to their lovely store. Karpos then also required a window which was celebratory. A celebration of the first anniversary of their launch and also for their beautiful range of Greek product. The window also had to resonate with the update of the interior which FOUNDiiD were also designing.
The functional challenges of the design were that the store is located on a dark and heavily trafficked central street of Limassol, and the space for FOUNDiiD’s design was also a very restricted one.
Responding to the brief and the design constraints, our final realised design was a colourful and modern display referencing the colours and shapes of the wonderful Greek pastas and sauces sold by Karpos.
The window is a huddled collection of nine steel cylinder columns of different dimensions in shades of yellow and reds. Each column is wrapped with an geometric band of black and white meander motif, referencing the Greek origin of Karpos’s products. The structure was then finished with a dressing of the pulses and beans on top and around the cylinders. A celebration delivered.
