Our brief for this seasonal window was to deliver designs for both SLA’s front facade and side window. We were also tasked to include a promotional messaging for SLA’s successful series of autumn cosmetic workshops.
The material inspiration chosen for this project was an SLA beauty headshot. The concept-mechanic for the design was a deconstruction of the image and then colouring with autumn suggesting pastel shades.
For the facade we delivered a hanging geometric installation using the headshot broken into three large fragments. The geometrics were positioned at different distances to create depth and drama within the window.
The side window’s design was a single impactful poster. Again geometrics were the creative theme but, in contrast to the facade, we created a triptych of bold rectangular panels with the same image in the same pastel shades.
Following a branding brainstorm session we the SLA management team FOUNDiiD delivered the call-to-action #tagline “#createyourbeauty”. This message sat with the side window poster and was effectively the autumn workshop tactical tag line.
The success of the pastel geometric approach meant that the design was also incorporated as SLA’s Facebook page header.
